Kerstin Majewski has been awarded the Beatrice White Prize by the English Association for her book The Ruthwell Cross and its Texts: A New Reconstruction and an Edition of The Ruthwell Crucifixion Poem (De Gruyter, 2022).

One of the judges wrote: "The volume as a whole constitutes a major contribution to the study of the Ruthwell Cross, our earliest witness to the most admired piece of Old English religious poetry." The Beatrice White Prize is awarded to the best scholarly article noticed in The Year’s Work in English Studies (YWES) in the fields of English Literature before 1590.
